How to learn Obsidian

Learning from YouTube

I love YouTube and have my own channel.

It is where I spend most of my time when I am not working.

The main benefits are:

  • Visual examples
  • Audio walkthrough
  • Faster to consume
  • It is more fun – in my opinion

However, the limitations are:

  • They become outdated
  • Can get very long
  • Don’t always give you the answer
  • Not easy to search through

Learning from Websites

I love YouTube. It is where I spend most of my time when I am not working.

  • Quick to update (so should be up to date)
  • Can be specific and brief
  • Easy to search through

 

However, the limitations are:

  • Limited visual help
  • No audible walkthrough
  • Slower to consume
